2020 has truly been a year of records for both SUGA & Agust D.


On 22 May 2020, Agust D, better known as SUGA from BTS, released his second mixtape 'D-2' following his eponymous debut mixtape back in 2016. The mixtape comprises of 10 track, in which 'Daechwita' is the title track. 'D-2' became the first album of 2020 to top the iTunes chart in 100 regions. Subsequently, Agust D became the first male soloist in history to have both song and album chart at #1 on iTunes in 100 regions.


Ever since the release of Agust D's MV 'Daechwita', interest in traditional music,'Daechwita', has skyrocketed. Numerous news media, including Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the National Conservatory, have acknowledged and praised its impact.


One of Korea's most highly anticipated collaborations of the year. 'Eight' by IU (co-written, featured & produced by SUGA) is a digital single released on 6 May 2020. Despite being a Wednesday release, the song still managed to shatter numerous records and set many 'firsts' for both IU and SUGA.

'Interlude: Shadow', a solo song by BTS' SUGA, was released on 10 January 2020 as the first comeback trailer of the year. The comeback trailer later on went to break the record for fastest MV to surpass 1M likes, at the point of release, doing so in only 30 mins.


 'Blueberry Eyes', featuring SUGA of BTS, is the sixth track on the album 'Color Vision' by MAX. It was released on 16 September 2020 and a remixed version by Steve Aoki was later released on 12 November 2020.
